Exhilarating 2-hour ride on a Quad Bike and private cooking class

For this adventure tour like no other, guests shall be picked up from their Florence accommodation in a comfortable Mercedes van before heading off through the Tuscan countryside to the Quad Bike meeting point, just half-an-hour from Florence.

To follow is an exhilarating 2-hour ride on a Quad Bike. Participants can choose if they want to be a rider or a passenger, as they cross the undulating Chianti countryside to the next destination: our Chef’s country house where our culinary adventure shall take place.

The group may choose between enjoying a 3-hour private cooking class or a 2-hour lunch. For the cooking class, the group size of a minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 guests ensures that this is a truly hands-on experience, during which participants will learn how to cook a delicious Tuscan meal to enjoy at the end of the class.

If the group prefers, our Chef can prepare the meal for them.

Either way, the meal shall include a welcome drink and appetizers, a first course (such as pasta, gnocchi or risotto), a main course and a mouthwatering dessert to conclude.

After the meal, guests shall return to their Quad Bikes for the ride back to the meeting point, where the driver shall await them for the return trip to Florence in the Mercedes van.

This active tour offers guests the chance to partake in an unforgettable dynamic experience, combining stunning countryside, exhilarating Quad Bike rides and delicious Tuscan food enjoyed in an exclusive setting.

The undulating Tuscan hills have been cultivated for centuries, producing the fresh and tasty ingredients that go into the sumptuous traditional cuisine. Wine and olive oil have also been produced on this land for millennia. As to animal farming, some of the best land is left for the herds to roam freely in the open pastures.

The result is a picturesque terrain that is knowingly cultivated for the best crop production, seasonal harvesting and the tastiest and healthiest produce. This is combined with generational know-how on transforming these fresh ingredients into Tuscany’s signature dishes.

The secret lies undoubtedly in simplicity – using few but top-quality ingredients to truly exalt the flavors whilst preserving the natural goodness within.

Our chef’s passion for cuisine dates back to time spent in the kitchen as a child, watching and later helping his mother prepare family meals. His love is for traditional Tuscan, Italian and Mediterranean dishes embellished with a personal touch, whilst rigorously sticking to the seasons and local produce.

As a true Italian, he most enjoys preparing first course dishes such as homemade pasta, gnocchi, ‘gnudi’, risotto and vegetable. All is enhanced with the use of aromatic herbs typical of the Mediterranean terrain, occasionally with the addition of spices that have seasoned Italian dishes at least since the times of the spice trade.

With Tuscany being a veritable microcosm – comprised of sea, mountains, rivers and valleys – our Chef is expert in both seafood dishes (another passion) as well as the traditional Tuscan dishes from the land.

Upon booking this Tuscan adventure, guests may choose to have a complete Italian meal comprised of appetizers (served with a welcome drink), first course, main and dessert or else opt for a specific class focused on first course dishes (including homemade pasta, for example), a seafood, vegetarian or land-based menu, or even opt for an opulent dessert menu!

  • Be transported in a private Mercedes van to the Quad Bike meeting point in the Tuscan countryside.
  • Travel by Quad Bike through the picturesque Tuscan countryside as a rider or passenger.
  • Go to the home of our Chef for a private cooking class or traditional lunch.
  • Find out about the iconic artistic, architectural, cultural and political history of Siena.
  • After the meal, ride back to the van meeting point to return to Florence.

To ensure all arrangements can be made, guests much communicate in advance how many shall ride the Quad Bikes and how many shall be passengers (one passenger per rider). Signature Italy can/cannot provide riders if passengers are outnumbered by riders in the group. It is also possible to request that some of the group ride the Quad Bikes whilst the other participants go directly to the kitchen for the cooking class (at an additional fee for the extra kilometers traveled).

For logistical reasons, it is not possible to have some of the group ride the Quad Bikes whilst the other participants go directly to the kitchen for the cooking class. Guests may be collected and dropped off from an alternative location outside of Florence upon request (price may vary accordingly). Joining this tour shall require a valid Driving License for each Quad rider and a credit card – for any eventual damages. All guests will be required to sign waiver forms, freeing Signature Italy and all service providers involved in this activity from any liability for accidents, injuries and damages, along with any and all resulting consequences and costs thereof.
